Shades of You, Shades of Me, is a Maternal Mental Health Awareness & Advocacy agency that seeks to build a community of support for women of diverse cultural backgrounds. Shades of You, Shades of Me exist because women deserve respectable mental and emotional support. We raise awareness of the realities women and mothers face, challenge the status quo regarding expectations placed on mothers and provide a means of radical, yet accessible self-care practices. Our core values include support, ownership, kindness, devotion and community. Our primary focus areas are maternal healthcare and mental health, prevention services, policy as well as education.

SOYSOM is committed to improving maternal mental health and advancing health equity in the multicultural community and continues to be deeply invested in supporting the health of all birthing people in under-resourced and marginalized communities. SOYSOM is seeking community-based and national partners who are dedicated to advancing maternal mental health and health equity through a commitment to supporting community-based organizations, led by community members who best understand the ways that maternal mental health affects the multicultural community’s health and well-being. We believe that bridging the expertise and resources of community organizations and those with the lived experiences and expertise of communities can strengthen our ability to successfully address and influence maternal mental health, healthcare prevention and radical wellness.
GOALS OF PARTNERSHIP
SOYOM is looking to reimagine what organizational partnership looks like. We are seeking to move beyond co-promotion of events to true co-collaboration. We are looking for partners to participate in our partnership boards, financially contribute to SOYSOM via membership/partnership packages, cross promotion of events and features via newsletters as well as social platforms. SOYSOM would also expect to be a part of partner organizations board’s as well as having access to organizational networks both social and strategic.
With co-collaboration in mind as thee goal of these partnerships, we would be offering all partnering organizations early access to events and event recordings, several different tiers of membership packages with exclusive perks, early access to all SOYSOM trainings, cross promotion in our monthly newsletters as well as across social media platforms. Additionally, partners will receive priority consideration for speaking engagements as well as early access to other SOYSOM events and platforms.
